The apartment, which is located just by the beach, is only a 20 minutes car/taxi drive from the airport, where you can find both multiple car rentals and airport busses (24/7) to the centre of Barcelona (Plaza Catalunya). The apartment has its underground private parking space.
Barceloneta & Barceloneta Beach

The apartment is located in the old triangular Barceloneta quarter with everything you may need in the close neighbourhood, The beach is virtually next door with multiple seafood and traditional Spanish restaurants, playground for both kids and adults, beach volley and tennis court, surfing schools, and even a heated swimming pool next to the beach that is open year round (if you should find the sea temperature too low during the winter months). Frank Gehry's 56 metres long and 35 metres high goldfish sculpture (tap the picture 1-2 times)  is at the foot of the Hotel Arts - ready to jump into the Mediterranean sea along with the locals and tourists.

The apartment building has its own private roof terrasse for use by apartment owners only, Deck chairs are available in the apartment utility room. The roof terrasse overlooks the neighborhood including the square (La placa del poeta Bosca) with great bakeries, groceries, indoor fish, meat and cheese market, and multiple restaurants and tapas bars.  

Rooms en suite  & balcony 

The three rooms facing the street are the living room, the dining room, and a bedroom at the end. The balcony runs along all three rooms. All three have shutters, allowing the doors to be open during the warm summer days. Even on hot summer days a nice breeze flows through the rooms, when window in the corridor is kept open. The handmade floor tiles are original.

The apartent building is located in this cosy pedestrian street with multiple small shops, including pharmacy, butcher and cheese shop, greengrocers, bakery, tapas restaurants, pizzeria, etc.
